Christmas cake

Hello everyone! As of the writing of this blog, it’s Christmas Eve, so me and my mom decided to make Christmas plum cake. The ingredients are eggs, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon, butter, dates without the seeds, tutti-frutti, sugar and oats. If you’re attentive, you notice that there’s no plum in that list. That’s because there isn’t supposed to be. The main ingredient of the cake is actually egg, and there’s not a single bit of plum in it. I don’t know how it got the name plum cake either because it just doesn’t look like a plum. Anyway, to make it you have to make sure that the eggs are nice and bubbly before you put them in the batter. By bubbly I mean they have to be covered with huge bubbles. We couldn’t do that so we just settled for medium sized bubbles and we put in the batter along with all the other ingredients and it turned out alright. The cake is really good and you couldn’t even taste the oats! It took us a really long time to get the medium sized bubbles for the eggs, because none of us could figure out how to do it for a while. Eventually I just ended up aggressively turning the whisk back-and-forth in the bowl and it worked. Sure I had to do it for like five minutes straight, but it worked. My dad, my mom, and aunt had all of that cake, along with me after we finished a match of carroms. It’s actually good for you because of the oats. OK not very good for you, because there’s still a quite a bit of sugar in it, but it’s better than other cakes in that aspect. Sure it tastes great, but compared to cakes like red velvet, it can’t really compare. Anyway, bye everyone and have a great time and merry Christmas!

Let me finish off with a riddle.

Put your answers in the comments please(if you get it right I’ll tell you)
