I’m interested in the field of immunology – the study of the immune system, the second most complex biological network, after the human nervous system. The way the different cells, molecules and antigens all interact with such precision astounds me, as this was achieved with nothing but random mutations and natural selection over millions of years. This system isn’t just something that protects us, is us. It represents a silent collaboration of billions of cells, each with no consciousness, guided only by chemical signals and biological programming, working together to preserve life. Yet, its limits have not yet been reached. We can do more. Save lives, and with them happiness. With the power of technology and biology combined, we can create a better world.

Where knowledge and compassion drive innovation. Where biology and technology together allow us to live, thrive, and protect one another for generations to come.
