Hello everyone! Today, I’m going to be talking about Bjarke Ingels. He is making the floating city, he’s also working on these cool houses in Toronto, he’s working on the Mars base in the United Arab Emirates, etc. Bjarke approaches architecture like as if he’s playing with the world. He believes that architecture isn’t just repeating the same thing over and over again, it’s playing with the world and trying new things. That’s how we improve and make better things for the planet and for human habitation. I found it interesting because you see different types of modern buildingS and not the same old building that we see everyday. For example he put a ski slope on an energy plant that turns waste into energy and made it eco friendly.. His company, the Bjarke Ingels group is also helping NASA with 3-D printing technology to potentially print buildings on the moon, so they don’t have to bring the materials to construct the buildings to the moon. Bjarke is an inspirational man and I think we should all look up to him as an architect of the future.
