The Khan market

Hello everyone! Today, I am going to be writing about the Khan market, and a little restaurant that I found inside it. The Khan market is a popular shopping Center in Delhi, India.

There are many little shops within the Khan market, and tons of different brands. It’s a bit like a mall, except without the traditional layout.

While me and my mom were visiting the market, we decided to have lunch. My mom couldn’t find any restaurants but then I looked for one and I found an outlet named Salim Javed. This restaurant was founded by Haji Banda Hasan and has been open since 1960. It’s a kebab house, that serves modern style rolls and burgers too.

Located on the first floor of a heritage style building, the unit has checkered floor tiles on some parts. The seating consists of black chairs and white tables. There are some fabric chairs in the middle that have printed names of destinations around the world. It’s a nice little restaurant, and has very good food. There are vegetarian options for anybody who wants it, and charging outlets for electronic devices. The price on the food is also very good and fair. Please do visit the area when you are in Delhi. On the rear side of the restaurant there is a section with hardwood floor and sofas for seats.

The Khan market is famous for Indian artisan shops, designer outlets, book stores, street vendors, boutique restaurants and much more.

We visited a Fab India store, a French bakery named Laduree, Faqir Chand book store and some designer fashion outlets such as Ritu Kumar and Devasya. Anyway, bye everyone and see you later!
