What task awaits our valiant hero now? Let’s go ask him. “Drive away the stymphalian birds from their lake near stymphalos.” read Hercules. “Well that’s going to be hard.” The stymphalian birds weren’t any normal birds. They could shoot their feathers which were as deadly as arrows at you and had beaks and claws made of bronze which they used to cut you to pieces. “I guess I’ll just think of something along the way.” He thought. When he was about to arrive, he didn’t have any plan whatsoever. Then he got a lucky break. Suddenly, Athena, Goddess of wisdom, crafts, and war appeared in front of him. “I am here to help you,” She told Hercules.” Try to think about what scares birds.” After thinking about it for a while, he finally said”Birds fly away from big noise.””Exactly.” She told him.” Take these golden symbols. They make tremendous noise.”” Thank you oh great goddess.” Hercules said. Then Athena left and Hercules used the gift to scare away all the stymphalian birds. What’s next? Dragons?
