Hi everyone! A few days ago, my mom asked me if I could describe my family as cells. So I made up reasons why my family members should be the cell that I describe them as. Here it is!
Mom: Platelet. She would be a platelet because she’s short, and platelets aren’t full cells.Another thing is that she cares for me like how the platelets clot up wounds in the body.
Dad: Macrophage. He would be a macrophage because he’s tall, and macrophages are huge compared to regular cells, and they take care of the cells in the bone marrow, like how he takes care of me.
Grandpa: Intestinal epithelial cell. He would most likely be a intestinal epithelial cell because he’s always just cleaning up the kitchen, like how the intestinal epithelial cells take care of the intestines.
Grandma: Stomach cell. She would be a stomach cell because these cells prepare nutrients for the cells, like how she makes me meals to eat, which are just delicious!
Me: Dendritic cell. I would be a dendritic cell because I know about how the body works and the cells inside of you that keep you alive (37.2 trillion cells)
Sha aunty: Red blood cell. She would be red blood cell because she is always bringing us very nice gifts like how the erythrocytes bring oxygen and nutrients to the cells and take the waste CO2 back to the lungs to be breathed out.
Roz uncle: Helper T cell. Because he is the guy who does business affairs. Business is a lot like commanding a battle. Helper T cells serve as commanders during battles with virus, bacteria, cancer cells or any infection.
Nelu: Neural STEM cell. She would be a Neural STEM cell because she’s always doing nice things for people like how the neural STEM cells help the cells in your brain, the most powerful organ in the body get revitalized (Or any cell really).
Neha: Neutrophil: She never gives up, like how the neutrophils never give up trying to save the body (even though they cause collateral damage). They can also put them at risk to create barriers to kill enemies and sometimes they continue fighting after that.
Bye! See you next time!
