Coping: 2021 version

I am coping with the situation that has appeared around us by trying to maintain a happy state of mind. I am doing this by meeting my friends and engaging in new things to do such as me creating a blog, learning taekwondo, learning how to make delicious lemon squares etc. I even wrote a letter in my blog that was addressed to the premier of our province, outlining strategies for effective implementation of widespread vaccination. However, I didn’t send the letter since I was afraid of getting thousands of angry comments from internet strangers. I also found a comedian doctor on Tiktok whose videos are amazing and hilarious, and I started memorizing the scripts of his videos. Influenced by his posts, I have decided that I want to become an ophthalmologist.

The most challenging part of the pandemic was online school. It was so sad to not be able to play with my friends at recess or talk to them in person. Instead I’ve had to see them on a rectangle of pixels on my eye-hurting computer screen. It’s so annoying.

Thankfully now I am back doing regular school as the vaccination drive here in Canada has been hugely successful in most parts. This is my pandemic life in a nut-shell.
