Solar lights are a completely safe source of light.The are powered by solar panels that convert sunlight into energy. They work by using the photons from the sunlight to separate electrons. This creates a flow of electricity. Some solar panels work by refocusing the heat from the sunlight onto water, creating steam, which turns the turbine of a generator. However, solar panels need toxic materials that harm the environment in order to be produced.

But the good effects of solar power outgrow the bad ones. Sadly, we can’t use it to full capacity yet. For such a drastic change would turn our civilization. But you can start the change by your self. You can purchase some solar panels and attach them to your roof. Then you can show your neighbours how effective it is.
