About 7 days ago, my mom bought an Aero garden with Hydroponics. She asked me to set it up. It took about five minutes in all, filling the tank, turning on the light, adding the seed pods and a plant food supply. I was done. We checked after two days, we started to see some growth in the Romaine plants. And then on the third day it was growing like crazy. Finally on the 5th day we found some growth from the Thai basil. We’re still waiting on the dill to grow. I also added a lego security guard because there is always the garden bandit who is stealing the garden stuff. We will just try to update this blog post regularly to inform you about the progress of the plants, yes if you want. And if you wondering the reason why we got the Aerogarden, it’s because we were running out of vegetables at home.
You can use it in winter as it is a greenhouse for indoors. Aerogarden makes plants grow faster using the Hydroponics technique. Hydroponics is a type of horticultural method of growing plants, without soil, by using mineral nutrient solutions in an aqueous solvent.Oh yeah I forgot to mention when the plants start growing it’s a good idea to start raising the block with the lights on it. Because of the rapid growth of the plants, they will start going up and the lights might stop them from growing. Hydroponics is usually done indoors, so it’s basically a substitute for normal plants. Hydroponics also makes the plants grow really fast, for example, the usual romaine lettuce plant makes about 65 to 70 days to sprout, but with Hydroponics it only takes 5 days. Aren’t you a little bit excited to have a Hydroponics thing in your house. You should never turn off the light on the machine. Without the light plants won’t grow because the light is a substitution for some nutrients that the sun’s rays gives a plant. So it’s a perfect substitute. Hydroponics doesn’t generate any greenhouse gases, it’s completely ecofriendly. It speeds up the growing of plants. Hydroponics is really amazing. In the section below we will have photos and videos of how the hydroponic garden looks. We will be updating it at least weekly.
